SAS IT Resource Management
uses the SAS Content Server to store reports and report metadata that
is the output of report jobs.
SAS IT Resource Management
enables you to create report jobs with the
Adapter Setup wizard or manually. These report jobs include Gallery transformations
that specify the repository folder path, relative to the SAS Content
Server, in which to store the reports. When these report jobs run,
the resulting report outputs are considered batch reports. These reports
are generated and stored on the SAS Content Server in corresponding
subfolders of the
sasdav/ITRM
folder.
The default folder path
that SAS IT Resource Management uses to store the report output corresponds
to the project name, process flow name, and ITRM Gallery task name
that are associated with the report. For example, the
Adapter Setup wizard stores reports in the following
standard location on the SAS Content Server:
sasdav/ITRM/<SAS Enterprise Guide project name>_<process flow name>/<ITRM Gallery task name (which is also the name of the report
definition)>
. Thus, you can
easily navigate to a report on the SAS Content Server if you know
the project name, process flow name, and ITRM Gallery task name that
is associated with the report.
Note: Meaningful and unique names
for SAS Enterprise Guide projects, process flows, and ITRM Gallery
tasks enable you to easily identify the reports and their components
in the SAS Content Server. For best results, use the same naming conventions
that SAS IT Resource Management uses. These conventions maintain consistency
among your SAS IT Resource Management reports and provide a clear
structure for storing and navigating report folders in the SAS Content
Server.
