To
use the SAS Data in HDFS engine, the following are required:

access
to the machines in the cluster where SAS High-Performance Deployment of Hadoop is
installed and running

an operating system user ID that
is configured for passwordless secure shell (SSH) on the machines
in the cluster
The
requirement for passwordless SSH is not unique to using the engine.
Passwordless SSH is used throughout SAS High-Performance Analytics.
The SAS High-Performance Computing Management Console can be used to simplify configuring
users for passwordless SSH.
