The text analytic capabilities
of the server depend on accessing SAS linguistic files. The server
uses these files to perform the parsing, term extraction, stemming,
tagging of terms, and so on. The files must be made available to the
server and the path must be specified in either the
TKTXTANIO_BINDAT_DIR or
TKPARSE_BINDAT_DIR environment
variables. (See the examples.)
Information about installing
the linguistic files for distributed deployments is provided in
SAS High-Performance Analytics Infrastructure: Installation and Configuration Guide. A common location is
/opt/TKTGDat,
but the location can be customized at your site.
For non-distributed
deployments, the files are installed with SAS as follows:
Windows Specifics: \SASFoundation\9.4\tktg\sasmisc
UNIX Specifics: /SASFoundation/9.4/misc/tktg
