Removing or Deleting a Portlet

About Removing Portlets

When you remove a portlet from a page, the portlet no longer appears on the page. However, the portlet remains in the portal repository so that you can add it later.
You can remove portlets from your personal pages (pages that you created).
You cannot remove portlets from a shared page unless you are a content administrator for the group with which the page was shared. Shared pages are indicated by the word Shared, Default, or Persistent in the upper right corner.
If a portlet has been shared and appears on one of your personal pages, you can remove the shared portlet from the page. A shared portlet has the word Shared in the portlet title bar.
