Using Bookmarks

Your Bookmarks portlet contains links to all of the content items that you have bookmarked.
Note: If your Bookmarks portlet does not appear on any of your portal pages, then you can add it. For instructions, see Add Your Bookmarks Portlet.
You can take the following actions with a bookmark (or group of bookmarks):
  1. To view bookmarked content, click the link in the Name column of any bookmark in your Bookmarks portlet.
  2. To take one of the other available actions, select the check box to the left of each bookmark that you want to take the action on.
Note: To select all of the bookmarks, select the check box that appears in the first column heading. To clear all of the check boxes, select this check box again.
Then choose one of the following actions:
    • Click Create Portlet to create a collection portlet that contains links to all of the selected content items. For more information, see Create a New Collection Portlet Using Bookmarked Items.
This option is available only if all the selections can be added to a collection portlet. For a list of items that can be added to a collection portlet, see About Collection Portlets.
    • Click Publish to publish the selected content items to a publication channel. For more information, see Publish Content.
This option is available only if all the selections can be published. For a list of items that can be published, see Publish Content.
    • Click Remove to remove the selected bookmarks from your Bookmarks portlet. (Only the bookmark is deleted, not the content item to which the bookmark refers).
    • Click E-mail to create an e-mail that contains URL reference(s) to the selected content item(s). For more information, see E-mail a Reference to Portal Content.
This option is available only if fewer than 10 items are selected.
