The ODS Graphics Editor
is a graphical application and, therefore, does not run on
z/OS systems.
You cannot edit graphs on
z/OS, either from the SAS
Results window or in the stand-alone editor. However, you can generate SGE
files on
z/OS, and then move the files to another system on which
you can run the editor (Windows, Linux, or UNIX). Then you can start
the editor and edit the SGE files that you moved.
For more information
about generating SGE files, see Creating Editable Graphics .
When you generate SGE
files on
z/OS, SAS always writes the SGE files to the UNIX file system
(UFS). The
z/OS FILESYSTEM= setting is ignored for writing SGE files. You must be authorized
to create UFS files in your environment in order to generate the SGE
files.
Note: SGE files can be rendered
on
z/OS systems using the SGRENDER procedure. For more information,
see
SAS ODS Graphics: Procedures Guide.
