Move Text That Has Been Added to an Annotation

To move text that has been added to an annotation:
  1. Right-click the annotation object and select Annotation Properties from the pop-up menu.
  2. Click the Text tab.
  3. Select the desired position for the text as follows:
    • For lines and arrows, select Through, Above, Below, Start, or End to position the text with respect to the line or arrow.
    • For all other annotation objects, select Inside, Above, or Below to position the text with respect to the object.
  4. Click OK.
For all annotations other than images, if your selection places the text outside of the plot, then the text might be cropped. For more information, see Understanding Annotation Concepts. To turn cropping off, see Change the Data Attachment Properties of an Annotation.
