In addition
to the standard text that is displayed, titles, footnotes, and axis
labels have alternate short text. If there is not enough space to
display the standard text, then the short text is displayed. For example,
if you resize a graph and there is not enough space to display the
whole axis label, then the short axis label is displayed. If you later
enlarge the graph so that enough space is made available, then the
long label is displayed.
This behavior
is supported as long as you do not make any change to the text of
the title, footnote, or axis label. Once you change the text, then
only the new modified text is displayed regardless of the size of
the graph.
