You can either install all SAS products on all machines in the grid or install different sets of SAS applications on sets of machines in the grid. However, Base SAS, SAS/CONNECT, and SAS Grid Manager must be installed on all grid machines. Using a grid plan file with the SAS Deployment Wizard guides you through the process of installing and configuring the SAS applications and metadata definitions on each machine in the grid. You must specify the same directory structure on all machines in the grid.
