| Generating Web Animation with GIFANIM |
The
GIFANIM device is useful for slide shows or animations that do not need to
be controlled by the Web user. Finite looping is appropriate for most cases,
such as demonstrating trends in data over time. Infinite looping is appropriate
for unattended kiosk displays. The GIFANIM device does not support data tips
and drill-down links. If you need to add data tips and drill-down links to
your images, use the JAVAMETA device instead. This device generates Web presentations
that run in the Metaview applet, as described in Developing Web Presentations for the Metaview Applet.
