Capability Listings
The following sections list all of the capabilities that are provided for use with SAS Enterprise Guide. The roles that are listed for each capability are those that are installed with SAS Enterprise Guide. The organization that is used in this topic matches the organization of capabilities in SAS Management Console.

Open Files from Local Computer

If granted, the user can open or import a file from the local file system. If not granted, the Open File dialog box does not allow the user to navigate to the local system, and the user cannot copy and paste or drag from the local file system. This capability does not provide a substitute for system security. |
Open Cube from OLAP Server

If granted, the user can open an OLAP cube source in a project. If not granted, all menus and the tree view should not allow the user to open an OLAP cube or navigate to an OLAP server. |
