Third-Party Software Requirements

In addition to the licensed SAS products required to support SAS Enterprise Miner, some third-party software is required. The SAS Enterprise Miner middle tier requires both the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) and a Web application server, such as JBoss Server, IBM WebSphere Application Server, or Oracle WebLogic. The SAS Enterprise Miner client and the SAS Enterprise Miner Workstation require only the Java Runtime Environment (JRE).
