SAS Management Console
is a desktop application for performing administrative tasks that
are related to certain SAS applications. Use SAS Management Console
for tasks such as the following:

organizing users into groups.

assigning users and groups to SAS
application roles. Roles control the availability of application features
such as menu items.

creating and managing folders to
organize SAS content (for example, libraries, tables, and reports).

assigning permissions to control
access to SAS content.
Note: SAS Management Console is
available only to users who are assigned to the SAS administrator
role. As a best practice, users should be assigned to this role only
if they are responsible for the tasks in the preceding list.
