Determine the Database to Use

You can use either Oracle or the SAS Decision Manager Common Data Server for the SAS Decision Manager database.

The SAS Decision Manager Common Data Server is based on PostgreSQL 9.1.23. Ensure that you have the information listed in Pre-installation Tasks for SAS Decision Manager Common Data Server.

SAS Business Rules Manager supports Oracle 11g and Oracle 12c for the SAS Decision Manager database.For Oracle, complete the tasks described in Pre-installation Tasks for an Oracle Database.
