You can enable the display of a default dashboard for
your users. When this feature is enabled by configuring the
bid.DefaultDashboard property,
users who log on to SAS BI Dashboard will always see the default dashboard.
The following guidelines apply:

If a user navigates from the default
dashboard to a different dashboard, and logs on to SAS BI Dashboard,
the last dashboard that was visited is displayed.

If a user deselects the
Open
the Previously Viewed Dashboard by Default option
in the
View menu, the default dashboard is
displayed.
To enable the display
of a default dashboard for all users, follow these steps:

In SAS Management Console
on the
Plug-ins tab, navigate to
Application Management
SAS Application
InfrastructureConfiguration ManagerBI Dashboard 4.3 and right-click
to display the
BI Dashboard 4.3 Properties dialog
box.

Click
Add to
display the
Define New Property dialog box.

Enter the property name
as shown and specify the property value:
Property
Name: bi.DefaultDashboard
Property
Value: Fully_Qualified_URL
Here is an example a
fully qualified URL:
SBIP://METASERVER/Orion/DefaultDashboard.dcx

Click
OK to
exit the
Define New Property dialog box.

To enable the property
to take effect, restart your Web application server.
