Troubleshooting the Update Host Name References Tool
The Update Host Name References tool creates a log for each software component whose metadata or configuration information needs to be updated. The logs are named software-component_changeHost_date-and-time.log and are written to SAS-configuration-directory/Levn/Logs/Configure. Refer to these logs if the update process for a particular software component completes with errors.
The SAS Deployment Manager also creates a log called SDM.log, which can be used for general troubleshooting for the SAS Deployment Manager. The log is written to the following path:

On Windows Vista systems: C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\SAS\SASDeploymentWizard\9.2

On other Windows systems: C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\SAS\SASDeploymentWizard\9.2

On UNIX systems: user's-home-directory/.SASAppData/SASDeploymentWizard/9.2
