Managing SAS Application Servers |
Using the SAS Management Console you can modify the properties definition for a logical server or a server component. Examples of server properties are: the command used to start the server, load-balancing settings, and so on. For information about object server parameters, see OBJECTSERVERPARMS System Option.
Follow these steps to modify a server definition:
Start SAS Management Console and connect to a metadata repository.
In the SAS Management Console navigation tree, expand the Server Manager to find the server object that you want to modify.
Select the server object, and then select File Properties from the menu bar.
Select the appropriate tabs, and enter the necessary changes.
For a description of the server definition fields, see the SAS Management Console online Help.
When you are finished, click OK to return to the SAS Management Console main window.
If you changed any authorization permission on a workspace server, a pooled workspace server, or a stored process server, restart the object spawner.
For more information, see "Operating Your Servers" in SAS Intelligence Platform: System Administration Guide.
