Introduction

This chapter extends the concepts introduced in the "Graphics" chapter of Getting Started with SAS/ASSIST. Included are discussions of advanced options for bar charts, pie charts, plots, and maps, and how to change the background color of a graphic.

For most of the tasks presented here, you must have SAS/GRAPH software licensed and installed. If you do not have SAS/GRAPH software licensed, you can perform some of the tasks using low-resolution graphics, but many of the advanced options are not available.

You are encouraged to explore and experiment with the different options. See the online help for additional information.
