TERM

         Terminates a particular transport. If you initiate
            a transport with the INIT CALL routine, you must use the TERM CALL
            routine to terminate the transport after you have completed the session.

                  Required Arguments

                  - tid

                     -

Numeric, input
                        Specifies the transport
                           handle that is obtained from the INIT function.

                  - rc

                     -

Numeric, output
                        Provides the return
                           code from the CALL routine. If an error occurs, then the return code
                           is nonzero. You can use the SAS function SYSMSG() in order to obtain
                           a textual description of the return code.

         Example
            The following example
                  terminates a transport:

               length msg $ 200;
length tid rc 8;
rc=0;
call term(tid, rc);
if rc ^= 0 then do;
  put 'TERM: failed';
  msg = sysmsg();
  put msg;
end;
else put 'TERM: succeeded';
