SAS Integration Technologies allows application developers
to combine the power of both SAS information delivery and IBM message
queuing capabilities by providing a SAS interface to the IBM WebSphere
MQ product (formerly called MQSeries). With this interface, SAS programs
can create new WebSphere MQ message queues or take advantage of existing
ones that are available throughout the enterprise. This section explains
how to implement this interface by using the SAS DATA step and SAS
Macro Language.
