Deploying an Enterprise Information System |
You can issue the EIS command from any SAS window to invoke the SAS/EIS build environment. You can assign the EIS command to a function key so that you can invoke SAS/EIS more easily. You can also put the EIS command in an autoexec file to invoke a SAS session that automatically starts SAS/EIS.
EIS <option>
can be either of the following:
specifies a parameters catalog entry to use instead of the default SASUSER.PARMS.PARMS.SLIST. Specifying a different parameters catalog entry enables you to use different customized settings, search paths, and other designations in different sessions. You can use a PARMS specification to share your customized session with other users. You must specify an existing SAS libref, but SAS/EIS creates the catalog for you if it does not already exist.
specifies a folder catalog entry to display instead of the default SASUSER.EIS.EIS.FOLDER. You can create your own folder and display it for your users. For more information on creating folders, refer to the SAS/EIS online Help.
