Several
SAS/GIS
sample maps and their associated data sets are supplied with
SAS/GIS
software. These maps reside in both the MAPS and MAPSSAS libraries,
along with map data sets shipped with
SAS/GRAPH software.These maps
can be used for exploring the software or for demonstration purposes.
To open the sample maps,
invoke
SAS/GIS and select
FileOpen Map or right-click the
GIS
Map window and select
Open Map.
Select the MAPS or MAPSSAS library, followed by the catalog and the
map name.
Three sets of sample
maps are included with
SAS/GIS software, and two maps are created
by the
SAS/GIS Tutorial. The following list provides the name of the
map, and the spatial data sets, catalogs, and data sets associated
with each map. The format of the map name is either MAPS.

Additional maps can
be created using the
SAS/GIS import process.
