Plackett-Burman Designs |
Plackett-Burman designs are screening designs that involve a large number of factors and relatively few runs. They are Resolution 3 designs, so they can estimate only main effects. They are typically used to identify a few significant factors out of a large set. The significant factors are often studied in more detail with follow-up experiments.
