The SAS AppDev Studio Java Components 3.1.2 Update delivers the files that enable you to build custom server-side Java applications using two new technologies released for use with SAS^®9:

• The Visual Data Explorer component, which is a viewer for exploring and navigating Information Maps that are built using relational and SAS OLAP Server data stores.
• The SAS Web Report Viewer, which is used to access and display reports that are built using SAS Web Report Studio.

Two new webAF Web application example templates are also installed along with the components. The templates make it easy for you to build a custom Java application using the new SAS^®9 technology pieces.
