for Windows^® Platforms

Installation Instructions

Note:

You must already have SAS/C Cross-Platform Software, Release 6.50, installed before downloading and installing these enhancements! If you currently do not have SAS/C Cross-Platform Software, Release 6.50 installed but would like to order the software, please contact your local SAS Institute office.

1. Your updates are supplied in an InstallShield setup package. Select Continue in the SAS/C Cross-Platform Software - Welcome dialog box. This will unpack the setup installation wizard, copying temporary files to your TEMP directory.

2. Follow the directions detailed in the subsequent dialog boxes, and the setup will detect the previously installed software and integrate the updates into the appropriate directory hierarchy.

New Enhancements for Update Release 6.50.04

New enhancements for update release 6.50.04 include:

• Cross-Platform debugger support with a PC NFS server
• Support for ar370 archives in a Win32 Static Library Project under Microsoft Visual Studio (this functionality is supported in a stand-alone or project-dependency mode)
• Support for Microsoft Visual Studio, Version 6.0
• Support for template objects in an ar370 archive
