This document describes the SAS Monospace Font Update (Beta), which is being made available first to users of Versions 6 of the SAS System.
The Euro has been added to the font at position '0x80'; in accordance with its position in various ANSI codepages (e.g., 1252 Western).
If you do not have a keyboard with the Euro glyph, you can enter the character by pressing the ALT- key and then a decimal number by using the numeric keypad on the right side of your keyboard. For example, ALT + 0128 produces the Euro.
After applying the Windows NT 4.0 Euro Product Update or Windows NT Service Pack 4 or for Windows 95, the Final Windows 95 product update (all downloadable from the MicroSoft Web pages), you should also be able to enter the Euro by pressing the key combination, ALTGR + E.
