David Macdonald
General Manager, Financial Services Business Division, SAS Americas
David Macdonald leads the division responsible for sales, pre-sales and consulting for all SAS Financial Services customers and prospects. This includes institutions focusing on retail and wholesale banking, consumer credit, capital markets, investment banking, life and P&C insurance, and institutional investments. The financial services customer base in the US represents more than 12 percent of SAS software revenues worldwide.

In addition to this P&L responsibility, Macdonald also plays a key role in the strategy, development and delivery of the two key financial services solution suites. These are compliance/regulatory (AML, HMDA/CRA and risk) and customer intelligence (all CRM, analytical and marketing solutions).

Prior to this role, Macdonald served as the Director of the SAS Americas Analytical CRM Practice, reporting to the Vice President of US Commercial Sales. In this role, he led the business development, sales and consulting delivery of the SAS analytical CRM solutions. Over a span of 18 months, Macdonald grew his team exponentially and partnered with the field sales and engineering divisions to sell and deliver multiple solutions for new and existing SAS customers. His efforts resulted in validating SAS as the sole leader in the analytical CRM solutions Gartner quadrant.

Macdonald's leadership roles have afforded him the opportunity to share the volume of expertise that he garnered as an executive board member of Intrinsic. As a founder of Intrinsic Ltd. (UK), he pioneered the marketing automation product and service solution before the company was acquired by SAS in 2001. In his role, Macdonald was a key contributor in the creation and implementation of Intrinsic's business plans, sales and marketing strategies, and sales execution.

Clark R. Abrahams
Director, SAS Fair Banking

Clark Abrahams serves as subject matter expert and influences research and development efforts. A former bank CRO possessing more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Abrahams is a member of CFA Institute, PRMIA and RMA. He holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and computer science from UC Berkeley, and a master's degree in engineering from Stanford University. He recently co-authored a book with Dr. Mingyuan Zhang entitled Fair Lending Compliance - Intelligence and Implications for Credit Risk Management and is an inventor on three pending SAS patents.

David Stewart, CAMS
Director, SAS Financial Crimes and Compliance

David Stewart is responsible for the development of strategy, driving product management and supporting the marketing of SAS' financial crimes and compliance solutions in Canada, Latin America and the United States. He works closely with financial services customers, regulatory agencies, research and development, and implementation teams to deliver industry best practices for behavior detection and complying with anti-money laundering and fair banking regulations.

Previously, Stewart served as a SAS Business Manager at one of the world's largest financial institutions. He has worked exclusively with financial services companies during the last 15 years on various consumer risk, marketing and compliance initiatives.

Stewart is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and holds a bachelor's degree in economics from North Carolina State University.

Cameron T. Jones, CAMS
Industry Strategist, Financial Crimes and Compliance

Cameron Jones serves as a subject matter expert and is responsible for monitoring regulatory emphasis and compliance requirements to ensure SAS keeps pace with necessary solution enhancements. He provides market-driven information for future product direction by consulting with clients, prospects, analysts, regulatory agencies, and other external resources. Jones identifies industry trends and emerging issues to deliberate a strong position that will demonstrate SAS' experience and leadership in the financial services community.

Jones served in the Army, with a Military Intelligence Battalion in South Korea, prior to accumulating over eleven years of experience in the private and governmental financial sectors. Most recently, he was Director of Internal Audit Compliance for one of the world's largest international banks and prior to that role; he had been recruited as a Vice President for Private Banking Compliance, which, successfully led to the lifting of a Cease and Desist Order that had been imposed upon the institution. During his time with the Department of Commerce, he served as a representative on an Anti-Terrorism Task Force that partnered him with U.S. Treasury, Department of Justice, Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Jones is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Appalachian State University.
