What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a notification system used to alert individuals when new content is available on a Web site. To read or subscribe to an RSS feed, you must use an RSS feed reader or a browser with an RSS reader built in (Internet Explorer 7, Firefox and Safari all have built-in feed readers). Feed readers are special programs that can monitor, retrieve and then translate RSS feeds that are provided to them.

For detailed information on RSS, read this article from DigitalTrends.com on how to use RSS or Wikipedia's articles on Web feeds and RSS.

Terms of use
SAS offers SAS feeds subject to the SAS Terms of Use. Your subscription to and continued use of SAS RSS feeds constitutes your acceptance of these terms.

Listservs

Listservs from Technical Support

SNOTES-L (subscribe)
SAS Institute Technical Support uses SNOTES-L to distribute information about the availability of SAS Notes on the Customer Support Center Web site. This is a high volume listserv which sends mail on a daily basis with information about new and/or revised SAS Notes.

TSNEWS-L  (subscribe)
TSNEWS-L is a means for SAS Technical Support to distribute technical information to customers. Information distributed on TSNEWS-L includes problem correction notifications, announcements about Institute hours/closings, and information on existing and new maintenance levels.

User-Supported LISTSERV

SAS-L is a user-run Internet mail list (LISTSERV) devoted to issues relating to SAS software products sponsored by the University of Georgia. The COMP.SOFT-SYS.SAS Usenet news group mirrors the SAS-L mail list. You can use SAS-L and COMP.SOFT-SYS.SAS to exchange information (and opinions) about SAS software, or to post questions about SAS software and get responses from SAS users around the world. To subscribe to the SAS-L mail list, send a message with the following line to listserv@listserv.uga.edu:

SUBSCRIBE SAS-L

You can also visit the SAS-L website sponsored by University of Georgia to manage your SAS-L subscription. The Web location is listserv.uga.edu/archives/sas-l.html

Note that SAS-L and COMP.SOFT-SYS.SAS are neither moderated, supported, nor monitored by SAS Institute Technical Support.
