| Dear Reader, Maybe it says something about my maturity, but one of my favorite holidays is Halloween. Carving pumpkins, walking around the neighborhood after dark and sneaking that second (OK, seventh) piece of candy despite mom's declaration, "last one before bed." Aah...the memories.
I think my favorite part of the holiday, though, was dressing up. Every year it was a different superhero - Batman, Spiderman, the Incredible Hulk - I can still smell the plastic of the suit and nostalgically remember holding the mask in front of my face most of the night because that thin elastic strap breaks after the fifth house.
I think the reason I love superheroes so much is because everyone looks up to them. You get to live this dream every day. As an analytical expert for your organization, you're likely a "superhero" to your colleagues, helping them make informed decisions faster than a speeding bullet and your company leap the competition with a single bound.
Of course, even a superhero needs a little help keeping their superpowers sharp. That's where SAS Education can save the day. In this issue of the SAS® Training Report, you'll find out how to strengthen your SAS muscles with our latest SAS 9.2 training; learn about discounts that can stretch your training budgets farther than Mr. Fantastic; and discover that there's still time to attend SAS' annual meeting for analytical superheroes: M2009.
And, just in case you're wondering, your secret identity is safe with me. Keep using your extraordinary superpowers for good, and as always, thanks for reading,
Larry LaRusso
