Though it was released a few years before I was born, one of the songs I remember from my childhood was the Beatles' tune Eight Days a Week. My father, who played in a band on the weekends, loved to play Beatles' songs, and Eight Days a Week may have been his favorite. I'm not exactly sure when I discovered there were actually only seven days in a week, but I can tell you the disappointment hasn't subsided.

In fact, it's only gotten worse. I bet you're in the same boat (or maybe it's a yellow submarine). Anyway, in today's busy world, it feels like we all could use an extra day in our week to get all that we need to accomplish done. Well, what if I told you I could offer you that extra day? All you need to do, it turns out, is take training. That's right, industry research suggests that completing software training increases user productivity by an average of 20 percent. Twenty percent! That's like earning the extra day John, Paul, George and Ringo promised.

In this issue of the SAS^® Training Report you'll find information about new training programs from SAS, a brand-new training facility, and some tips and tricks to help you become a more efficient user.
