Analyzing and Interpreting Continuous Data Using JMP®: A Step-by-Step Guide
By Jose Ramirez and Brenda Ramirez
Based on real-world applications, this book combines statistical instructions with a powerful and popular software platform to solve common problems in engineering and science. In the many case studies provided, the authors clearly set up the problem, explain how the data were collected, show the analysis using JMP, interpret the output in a user-friendly way, and then draw conclusions and make recommendations. This step-by-step format enables users new to statistics or JMP to learn as they go, but the book is also helpful to those with some familiarity with statistics and JMP. 492 pp.
Jump into JMP® Scripting
By Wendy Murphrey and Rosemary Lucas
This book contains the essentials for getting started with the JMP Scripting Language (JSL). The first part of the book explains JSL topics in an easy-to-understand style based on the authors' extensive experience. Each topic includes step-by-step instructions and plenty of code examples. The second part of the book is a rich source of example scripts showing you how to perform specific tasks in JSL. Using a unique question-and-answer format, each example answers a question with a script sample. In addition, many examples include a discussion section that explains functions in detail or provides additional references. Taken together, these two parts give you all the tools you need to explore the JMP Scripting Language and create and use JMP scripts with confidence! 240 pp.

Advanced Search Preview »
Based on customer feedback and site usage evaluations, there is no mistaking the importance of searching. Given its importance, SAS has a team of dedicated people looking at reported issues and potential search improvements. The team is proud to announce our first major update to search: Advanced Search.
The Advanced Search is available today on support.sas.com. However, we have not made it a production feature yet because we are still testing and gathering feedback. We are offering SPN readers early access to the search features. All we ask in return is that you let us know what you like and what you don't like. For more details, please go to Renee Harper's blog.
