This site is "of the users, by the users, and for the users." It is owned and managed by the SAS Global Forum Executive Board, who developed the vision, determined the kind of functionality needed, and created the Web site's organizational structure.

The features available on SASCommunity.org include:

  • a wiki where users can share their knowledge of using SAS software
  • a consultant's (provider) registry implemented as wiki pages
  • a job registry
  • archived video presentations
  • a list of consultants and others providing services to the SAS community

In addition, registered users can create their own home pages and blogs. Presenters at SAS Global Forum (and other user conferences) can upload supplemental materials for their presentations.

This Web site is an exciting development for the SAS user community and enhances its ability to share and grow knowledge of SAS software and its many uses. All SAS users are welcome to participate in sasCommunity.org .
