ISBN Format Changes January 1,
2007
As of January 1, 2007, the International Standards
Organization (ISO) is changing the length of the International
Standard Book Number (ISBN) from 10 digits to 13 digits in
order to keep up with the increasing number of published books
and electronic media. All SAS Publishing products published
after January 1, 2007, will be assigned a 13-digit ISBN, not a
10-digit ISBN. Products published prior to January 1, 2007,
retain the original 10-digit ISBN; however, they also are
assigned a 13-digit ISBN.
SAS has already taken steps to ensure the transition is a
smooth one for our customers. All of our systems and processes
currently using a 10-digit ISBN have been modified to
accommodate a 13-digit ISBN. All catalogs, price sheets,
invoices, etc., now reflect the new 13-digit ISBNs. You can
search our online
catalog for products using either the 10-digit or the
13-digit ISBNs. If you have any questions or concerns,
please contact us at sasbook@sas.com or
1-800-727-3228.

Documentation Library for
the SAS 9.1.3 Intelligence Platform
SAS creates and delivers enterprise intelligence through
the SAS Intelligence Platform. The platform provides the
end-to-end infrastructure that is necessary for exploring,
analyzing, optimizing, reporting, and understanding your data.
The documentation library for the SAS 9.1.3 Intelligence
Platform continues to grow and evolve to meet customer
needs.
To improve the usability of the administration
documentation, SAS published an expanded and reorganized
library in November 2006. With this release, the SAS 9.1.3
Intelligence Platform: Administration Guide is divided into
five guides to address particular audience needs. For example,
there are now separate guides for a database administrator and
a Web applications administrator. Information from other
products' administration guides, such as SAS OLAP Server and
SAS Web Infrastructure Kit, are integrated into the
intelligence platform's documentation library. To view,
download, or purchase the administration documentation, see http://support.sas.com/913administration.
These documents are also available from SAS 9.1.3 OnlineDoc on
the Web at http://support.sas.com/onlinedoc/913/docMainpage.jsp.
