Chris Hemedinger’s new SAS Enterprise Guide book
Dear Reader,
I just returned from three packed days at the 2013 Digital Book World conference in New York. My brain continues to swirl with ideas and information. Besides attending cutting-edge publishing discussions and workshops, I also met a personal goal of attending both "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" and "The Colbert Report" (through some luck and perseverance).
Back in the office, we have a number of our own headlines to celebrate this month including the publication of Chris Hemedinger's book,
Custom Tasks for SAS Enterprise Guide Using Microsoft .NET
, Evan Stubbs' new analytics book, three new documentation titles, and 15 eBooks.
For those of you aspiring to publish your book with us, you'll learn about opportunities from Shelley Sessoms' Updates for Aspiring Authors column and SAS Press editor-in-chief Julie Platt's invitation in the Experts and Extras section.
As always, we welcome your feedback about topics you'd like to see covered in the SAS Book Report. Please contact us with your suggestions and ideas. Thank you for reading! Have a great month,
Shelly Goodin
Editor, SAS Book Report

We have great documentation for this product, but we want to give our readers more...more examples, more best practices, more case studies. If you've had success with SAS Data Integration Studio and want to share your knowledge with others, contact me today. We'll discuss your ideas, and see if we can turn them in to a world-class SAS Press book!
