Four new books, SAS Global Forum, and eBooks for global users
Dear Reader,
I recently watched an episode of "Through the Wormhole" on the Science channel. Quantum physics is a fascinating field, but multiple realities, simulated realities, and dark matter are creepy. Although the universe is certainly thought-provoking, I'm comfortably rooted in many engaging earthly projects this month.
We cover many of these exciting projects in this issue, including:
- four new books
- our planned activities and promotions at SAS Global Forum
- Kathy Council's guide to SAS eBooks for international users
- new eBook offerings
- a SAS tip from Ron Cody
- Shelley Sessoms’ publishing invitation for SAS Forecast Server users
Author Madeleine L'Engle wrote "A book, too, can be a star, a living fire to lighten the darkness, leading out into the expanding universe." As you explore this issue and our offerings, please do contact us with your feedback. Also, we'd especially love to hear from you if you're attending SAS Global Forum!
Have a great month,
Shelly Goodin

Share Your Experience with SAS Forecast Server
By Shelley Sessoms
SAS Forecast Server generates large quantities of forecasts quickly and automatically without needing human intervention, unless so desired. The software automatically chooses the most appropriate forecasting model, optimizes the model parameters and produces the forecasts.
Many of our readers and conference attendees are interested in new material on forecasting and time series. If you have best practices to share in this area, I love to hear them. Let's see if we can give the readers what they want…information to help them do their jobs faster and easier than ever before. Contact me today to get started on your book proposal.
