To new beginnings and books

Dear Reader,

Summer is a time for reading. Its many enticements include late sunny evenings to vacations to early morning wake-up calls from birds (or resident cats). Often, it's not a question of whether you read but how you choose to read. Do you reach for bedside books, your smart phone, eBook reading device, or something else? If you’re like me, you’re mixing things up depending on where you are and what exactly you want to read.

In this first edition of our renamed newsletter the SAS Book Report, SAS® Press Editor-in-Chief Julie Platt asks for your help in providing feedback about how our eBooks can better serve you. I invite you to comment on her blog post or email us. You'll also find quick SAS® tips, the latest SAS books and documentation, recommendations for new users, and much more.

Whether you're reading in your office, on a train, at the beach, or in your backyard, I hope that our content reaches you in just the right way.

Thank you for subscribing. Have a great month!

See you in August,

Shelly Goodin
Editor, SAS Book Report
