SAS 9.3 Resources and Special Offers

Dear Readers,

Momentous events happen every day. And while our individual perceptions of what is important may vary—some days, weeks, and months just seem to be saturated with big occurrences. For me, the past few weeks have included some pretty big and diverse highlights: from Japan's women's soccer (football) team winning the World Cup, to Netflix changing its price structure and creating panic among subscribers, to world financial and humanitarian crises, to sketchy journalism, to the relentless heat wave in North Carolina, to the final Harry Potter movie ever.

Professionally, the release of SAS® 9.3 has also been a HUGE and, fortunately, much anticipated event. In this issue of SAS Publishing News, you'll find some great deals and resources to help you get started in SAS 9.3:

In addition, there are useful tips from SAS authors, an announcement about the latest analytics book in the Wiley and SAS Business Series, and a listing of many fall conferences we're attending.

I hope you'll find this issue of SPN "momentous," and I welcome your feedback. And if you know of anyone who might like to hear about the time-limited FREE Kindle eBook edition of What's New in SAS® 9.3 (which runs through August 15), or anything else in this issue, please pass it along. As author J. K. Rowling said in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, "There are some things you can't share without ending up liking each other."

Thank you for reading!

See you in September,

Shelly Goodin
