October 2006 South-Central SAS® Users Group Conference
posted: August 2006Come learn and network with other SAS users in a high quality, yet relaxed environment. Conference highlights include:
- Pre- and post-conference SAS software training seminars.
- A free four-hour seminar in Proc Tabulate, a $150 value, scheduled for 5 - 9 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 15.
- Keynote address, "The Continuing Evolution of SAS," by Rick Langston, Manager of the Core Systems department within the Platform R&D division at SAS.
- Many 50-minute presentations covering a wide range of topics — from ODS to Getting Started with DATA Step Hash Objects. Also, choose from a variety of 20-minute presentations and numerous hands-on workshops... all presented by SAS experts.
- Monday night reception hosted by SAS in the demo room. Enjoy refreshments while talking with SAS employees and other SCSUG attendees while viewing the latest in SAS software.
- Demonstrations of the latest SAS products and services.
- Training in macros, Proc SQL, Proc Report, and advanced SAS programming.
- Closing Session activities.
SCSUG is an all-volunteer organization serving the five-state area of the South-Central United States: New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. Pablo Nogueras is the Academic Chair, and Clarence Jackson is the Facilities Chair.
