October 2008 South Central SAS® Users Group Conference
posted: October 2008We're dry, powered up, and ready for a great forum! Be sure to attend the SCSUG 2008 SAS Educational Forum in Houston.
Kevin Davidson and Minh Duong, this year's co-chairs, have organized an information-rich conference with presentations, hands-on workshops, seminars and tutorials designed to keep you up to date on the latest SAS offerings. Rick Langston, Senior Manager for SAS Software Development, will give a keynote titled "SAS Version 9.2."
In order to make the content relevant and still broad, there will be five different tracks at the conference: BASE SAS, Applications, Statistics and Analysis, SAS Presents Tutorials, and Hands-on Workshops where attendees have access to computers to learn software skills in a classroom setting.
The Hilton University of Houston hotel is the site of the forum. Located just three miles from the downtown Houston business district, the hotel is situated in the heart of the University of Houston campus. Many of the hotel's guest rooms overlook the 545 wooded acres of the campus.
