Exam Delivery Partner Changing to Pearson VUE »
Effective December 1, 2012, SAS Global Certification is switching its exam delivery partner from Prometric to Pearson VUE. “We are making this move to provide more efficient exam delivery services for our customers, partners and employees,” said Terry Barham, Manager of SAS Global Certification. “This move will improve our overall exam security and will also allow access to more advanced registration and delivery technologies.”
Prometric will continue to provide exam delivery through November 30. Pearson VUE will begin taking SAS exam registrations November 15 for exams to be scheduled after December 1. All non-expired Prometric vouchers for SAS exams will be honored by Pearson VUE. For more information, check out the Transition FAQs on the SAS Global Certification website.

New SAS Global Certification Credential Now Available »
The SAS Certified Statistical Business Analyst Using SAS®9: Regression and Modeling Credential is designed for professionals who solve business problems by performing statistical analyses and predictive modeling using SAS/STAT® software. The exam was created after reaching out to business leaders and hiring managers to find out what they were looking for in a statistical business analyst job role and scouring job boards to see what skills were in demand. The certification comes at a time when most agree there’s a growing shortage of analytical talent around the world. (According to a 2011 McKinsey Global Institute report, by the year 2018 the U.S. could face a shortfall of 190,000 professionals with deep analytical skills.)
