Upcoming Certifications »

SAS has begun development of a new certification focused on the use of SAS in the statistical business analyst job function. "A SAS Certification in this area has been of interest to our customers for some time," said Terry Barham, Manager of SAS Global Certification. "We have started the preliminary work of defining the exam objectives with the help of customer and internal experts with direct knowledge and expertise in the field. We are also working to understand the key skills that hiring managers and practitioners value, and envision that the exam will test a candidate's ability to interpret and solve business challenges by applying their knowledge of SAS statistical methods."

Availability is expected in mid-2012, and more details will become available as development progresses. For questions, send email to the SAS Global Certification program.

Exam Retake Policy Change »
The exam retake policy for the SAS Global Certification Program is changing. Effective Jan. 1, 2012, candidates who do not receive a passing score on a SAS exam attempt may retake the exam after a 14-day waiting period with a maximum of five attempts for the same exam in any 12-month period. Once a passing score has been received for an exam, no further attempts for that specific exam are allowed. Previously, candidates had to wait 30 days between exam attempts and could attempt an exam three times in any 12-month period.
