Record SAS Certification Event »

A new exam event record was set at the 2011 SAS Professionals Convention in Marlow, UK. In addition to having the most ever candidates sit for an exam (120 took their exam during the convention), the success rate rose considerably compared to previous years.

Terry Barham, SAS Global Certification Program Manager said, "This event was successful due to a robust partnership between customers and SAS UK Education personnel. SAS invested instructor resources to deliver extensive coaching and review sessions that were run through the SAS Professionals network while customer exam candidates invested their time."

"I had an excellent day at the 2011 convention," said Loulou Shakespear of Lloyds Banking Group. "The practice sessions in the morning before my Base SAS Certification exam were a great help in clearing up last-minute questions, reviewing difficult topics and more importantly, calming my nerves! I passed the exam that afternoon. A big thank you!"

Not only customers accepted the challenge; some partner consultants (Capgemini, Logica, OCS Consulting Benelux, PW Consulting) also earned SAS certifications. The exams offered were diverse: SAS Base Programmer, SAS Advanced Programmer, SAS BI Content Developer, SAS Data Integration Developer and SAS Platform Administrator.
