Passing of SAS Author David H. Johnson

SAS Press author, David H. Johnson, 52, of Melbourne, Australia, passed away August 24th after an extended illness. A long-time SAS user, David was an independent SAS consultant and director
of DKV-J Consultancies. David was also very active in local and national SAS user group meetings in Australia, as well as international SAS user group meetings, including SAS Global Forum, where
he served as a section chair for the 2007 conference in Orlando, Florida.
David was always an enthusiastic proponent of SAS software, and he was excited about writing his book Analyzing Web Log Data with SAS through SAS Press, which he was not able to complete. Our sincere condolences go out to David's family and friends. The SAS Press Team |
