Join Us at JSM

SAS Press will be on-site during JSM, August 3-6, in Denver. JSM (Joint Statistical Meetings) is the largest gathering of statisticians held in North America. It is held jointly with the American Statistical Association, the International Biometric Society (ENAR and WNAR), the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, and the Statistical Society of Canada.

Julie Platt and Shelley Sessoms will be available at the SAS Publishing booth during this year's conference. "We're attending the conference for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is so that we can talk face-to-face with our authors," says Shelley. "These conferences provide a great opportunity for us to meet our authors and discuss new and existing projects."

Shelley hopes to recruit authors for new statistical books during JSM. If you have an idea for a book, or would like to suggest a topic, stop by to see her. The SAS Publishing booth will be located near the entrance to the Exhibit Hall. We hope to see you there!

If you can't make it to JSM, but would like to suggest a book topic for which we could recruit an author, please send a note to Shelley Sessoms.
