Tricia Aanderud is coauthor of the new book, Building Business Intelligence Using SAS: Content Development Examples, just out this month. Here's a snapshot of where she is in the publishing process, what advice she has for others, and what she really thinks of SAS.

1. Where in the publishing process is your book?
   Just published!
   
   
2. How's it going?
   Wonderful - I'm celebrating as we speak. I can’t wait to see the finished product.
   
   
3. What advice would you give to other current or potential authors who are about to enter this same stage?
   It's a big undertaking, but completely worth it, especially when you get to this point.
   
   
4. How long have you been using SAS?
   Since 2002.
   
   
5. What do you think is the one thing that SAS users should know above all others?
   SAS is the best BI product in the world - hands down.
   
   
6. What is the one area in which you want to improve your SAS skills in 2012?
   SAS BI Dashboards! I'm putting together about 20 ideas that folks can replicate with their metrics.
