How will I be notified when my certification will expire?
The SAS Global Certification Program maintains data on all SAS certified professionals and will make every attempt to contact individuals at least six months in advance of the credential expiration. In the event that contact information has changed, SAS will communicate information about recertification through marketing materials and will promote the policy at numerous tradeshows and user events.
To meet my recertification requirement, what are my next steps?
The recertification requirement may be met by reviewing the
Recertification Table which outlines required exams for recertification per SAS credential earned.
How does SAS recertification differ from other industry certifications?
There is no single standard for the IT industry regarding recertification. Although most vendors do have a policy, implementation and enforcement varies widely. We believe we have created a fair policy that does not burden the individual unnecessarily, but still maintains credibility for the program.
