Discounts on exams and certification training packages are available for veterans, those involved in academics (as detailed below), and employers.

Veteran education benefits

Academic Discount - 50% off Standard Fees

Certification exams are available at a 50% discount off the standard, full-price, published fees for those in the field of academia.

Eligibility and Guidelines

This discount applies to employees, educators, teachers, students, faculty and staff associated with academic institutions, school districts, and other education-related agencies. Proof of affiliation is required (a current identification card with expiration date, a letter from Human Resources on institution letterhead stating your employment, and/or a copy of your transcript from the current semester. If your student id does not have a expiration date, you will need to provide a copy of a current transcript). No other discount may apply.

To take advantage of the academic discount for certification exams:

Request your certification exam discount through e-mail or send a FAX to 919-677-4444; Attn: SAS Global Certification Program. Include proof of your academic status prior to registering for your SAS Certification exam. We will respond to you with a voucher number that applies a 50% discount to your exam registration. All vouchers are valid for at least 6 weeks. The voucher will be valid for one exam attempt. If you are unable to take your exam during the timeframe you requested, you will need to apply for another voucher. Please tell us which month you plan to take your exam.

Schedule your exam appointment with Prometric and provide the voucher number received from us during your registration.

To help your staff get SAS certified, we offer several different discount programs:

Enterprise Professional Training Offer
The SAS Enterprise Professional Training Offer (EPTO) is a discount training program offering blocks of pre-paid training units to help you plan your training investment. Purchase your units in advance for a variety of training and certification services. EPTO units may be used to purchase SAS certification exam vouchers.

Group Discounts
Enjoy volume discounts for your staff as they move forward with a SAS certification exam. Groups of five or more may enjoy a 25% discount off the published exam fees. In order to receive this discount, 5 or more exam vouchers need to be purchased at the same time. No other discounts apply. Contact us to learn more.
