Discounts on exams and certification training packages are available for veterans, those involved in academics (as detailed below), and employers.

Veteran education benefits

Did you know that the U.S. Government allows veterans and other eligible persons to receive G.I. Bill education benefits for fees associated with Licensure and Certification tests? Learn how you can apply for reimbursement.

Academic Discount - 50% off Standard Fees

Certification exams, public classroom training courses, Live Web classroom training courses and e-Learning products are available at a 50% discount off the standard, full-price, published fees for those in the field of academia.

Eligibility and Guidelines

This discount applies to employees, educators, teachers, students, faculty and staff associated with academic institutions, school districts, and other education-related agencies. Proof of affiliation is required (valid identification card, a letter from Human Resources on institution letterhead stating your employment, or a copy of your transcript from the current semester). No other discount may apply.

To take advantage of the academic discount for certification exams:

  1. Request your certification exam discount through e-mail or send a FAX to 919-677-4444; Attn: SAS Global Certification Program. Include proof of your academic status prior to registering for your SAS Certification exam. We will respond to you with a promotion code to apply to your exam registration. Please tell us which month you plan to take your exam.
  2. Schedule your exam appointment with Prometric and provide the promotion code received from us during registration.

To take advantage of the academic discount for training classes:

To receive this discount, payment or purchase order is required upon registration.
  1. Register for your course online, by phone (800-333-7660), or by sending in a registration form (pdf.). Use the A50 promo code and provide payment of the course fees.
  2. E-mail or FAX your proof of academic status to 919-677-4444, Attn: SAS Education.
We will hold your payment information until we receive your proof of academic status, and your registration confirmation will not reflect the discount until then. The full course fee will be charged if academic proof is not received before class begins.

Enterprise Professional Training Offer
The SAS Enterprise Professional Training Offer (EPTO) is a discount training program offering blocks of pre-paid training units to help you plan your training investment. Purchase your units in advance for a variety of training and certification services. EPTO units may be used to purchase SAS certification exam vouchers.

Group Discounts
Enjoy volume discounts for your staff as they move forward to take a SAS certification exam. Groups of five or more may enjoy a 25% discount off the published exam fee. No other discounts apply. Contact us to learn more.
